Connection Issues

Resolve problems connecting AutoSeq to HubSpot or maintaining the connection.

Can't Connect to HubSpot

OAuth Authorization Failed

Error: "Authorization failed" or "Access denied"

Solutions:

  1. Verify you're a HubSpot admin or have API access permissions
  2. Check you selected the correct HubSpot account during OAuth
  3. Try in incognito/private browser window
  4. Clear browser cookies and try again
  5. Try different browser (Chrome recommended)
  6. Check if popup blockers are preventing OAuth window

Connected to Wrong Portal

Problem: Connected to test/sandbox instead of production

Fix:

  1. Go to Settings → HubSpot Integration
  2. Click "Disconnect"
  3. Log out of ALL HubSpot accounts
  4. Reconnect AutoSeq
  5. Carefully select correct portal during OAuth

Connection Expired

OAuth Token Expired

Error: "HubSpot authorization expired"

Cause: OAuth tokens expire after 6 months of inactivity

Fix:

  1. Go to Settings → HubSpot Integration
  2. Click "Reconnect HubSpot"
  3. Authorize again
  4. Connection restored

Permission Errors

Insufficient Permissions

Error: "Missing required HubSpot permissions"

Required permissions:

  • Sequences (read and write)
  • Users (read)
  • Contacts (read)
  • Workflows (read)

Fix:

  1. Contact your HubSpot admin
  2. Request above permissions
  3. Reconnect AutoSeq after permissions granted

Sync Not Working After Connection

No Data Syncing

Problem: Connected but no sequences/users showing

Solutions:

  1. Click "Sync Data" button manually
  2. Wait 30 seconds
  3. Verify you have sequences in HubSpot
  4. Check users have Sales Hub Pro licenses
  5. Refresh AutoSeq page
