What is an "Execution"?

An execution is one enrollment of one contact into one sequence via AutoSeq.

Examples:

  • 1 execution: One contact triggers your workflow and gets enrolled in a sequence
  • 10 executions: Ten different contacts each get enrolled
  • 1 execution (not 5): One contact is enrolled in a 5-email sequence (still counts as 1 execution, not 5)
Important
You're charged per ENROLLMENT, not per email sent. A 10-email sequence counts as 1 execution.

What Counts as an Execution?

Action Counts as Execution?
Contact enrolled in sequence via AutoSeq workflow ✅ Yes (1 execution)
Contact manually enrolled in HubSpot (not via AutoSeq) ❌ No
Same contact enrolled in 3 different sequences ✅ Yes (3 executions)
Workflow runs but contact already in sequence (skipped) ❌ No
Enrollment fails due to error ❌ No (failed executions don't count)
Data sync operation ❌ No
Creating rotation strategies ❌ No

How to Choose the Right Plan

Free Plan is Best For:

  • Testing AutoSeq before committing to a paid plan
  • Small teams with low enrollment volume (1-25 per month)
  • Seasonal use where you only need automation occasionally
  • Single workspace with 1-3 users

Example: A startup with 2 sales reps enrolling 15-20 leads per month into nurture sequences.

Starter Plan is Best For:

  • Growing sales teams (3-10 reps)
  • Moderate volume (50-500 enrollments per month)
  • Multiple workflows across different lead sources
  • Rotation strategies to distribute leads fairly
  • Analytics needs to track team performance

Example: A B2B SaaS company with 5 sales reps, enrolling 300 inbound demo requests per month across 3 sequences.

Professional Plan is Best For:

  • Large sales teams (10+ reps)
  • High volume (500-2,000+ enrollments per month)
  • Enterprise sales requiring dedicated support
  • Multiple workspaces (agencies, multi-brand companies)
  • Advanced analytics and performance insights
  • Mission-critical workflows needing SLA guarantees

Example: An agency managing AutoSeq for 5 clients, or an enterprise with 1,500+ monthly enrollments.

Not Sure?
Start with the Free plan. You can upgrade anytime, and your current month's executions will count toward the new limit.

Estimating Your Monthly Executions

How to Calculate:

Use this formula to estimate your monthly execution needs:

Monthly Executions = (Leads per month) × (Number of sequences they might enter)

Example Calculations:

Scenario 1: Simple Demo Follow-up

  • • 50 demo requests per month
  • • Each enters 1 sequence
  • Total: 50 executions/month
  • Recommended Plan: Starter ($49/mo)

Scenario 2: Multi-Touch Campaign

  • • 100 inbound leads per month
  • • 50 get "Demo Follow-up" sequence
  • • 30 get "No-Show" sequence
  • • 20 get "Re-engagement" sequence
  • Total: 100 executions/month
  • Recommended Plan: Starter ($49/mo)

Scenario 3: High-Volume Outbound

  • • 300 inbound leads per month
  • • 200 cold outbound prospects per month
  • • Each enters 1-2 sequences average
  • Total: 700 executions/month
  • Recommended Plan: Professional ($149/mo)

Billing Cycle

Monthly Billing

  • All plans are billed monthly
  • Billing date = day you subscribe (e.g., subscribe on the 15th, bill on the 15th each month)
  • Execution limits reset on your billing date
  • Unused executions do NOT roll over to the next month

Annual Billing (Coming Soon)

Save 20% by paying annually:

  • Starter: $470/year (save $118)
  • Professional: $1,430/year (save $358)
Good to Know
Annual billing is not yet available. Sign up for monthly billing now and we'll migrate you when annual plans launch.

What Happens if You Exceed Your Limit?

Soft Limit Approach

AutoSeq uses a "soft limit" system:

  1. At 80% of limit: Warning email sent
  2. At 100% of limit: Workflows continue to run for 7 days
  3. After 7 days: Workflows pause until you upgrade or next billing cycle

Example:

  • You have the Starter plan (500 executions/month)
  • On day 20, you hit 400 executions → Email warning sent
  • On day 25, you hit 500 executions → Workflows keep working for 7 days
  • On day 32 (7 days later), workflows pause unless you upgrade
  • Your billing renews on day 1 of next month → Limit resets to 500, workflows resume
Important
Don't rely on the 7-day grace period. Upgrade before hitting your limit to avoid workflow interruptions.

Upgrading Mid-Cycle

If you upgrade in the middle of your billing period:

  • You're charged the prorated difference immediately
  • Execution limit increases immediately
  • Your executions from earlier in the month still count

Example:

  • You're on Free (25/month), used 23 executions
  • You upgrade to Starter (500/month) on day 15
  • You're charged ~$24.50 (half of $49)
  • Your limit is now 500, but you've used 23, so you have 477 left

Payment Methods

AutoSeq accepts:

  • 💳 Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover)
  • 💳 Debit cards
  • 🏦 ACH bank transfer (Professional plan only)

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. AutoSeq never stores your card information.

Cancellation & Refunds

Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel anytime:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click "Cancel Subscription"
  3. Confirm cancellation

What happens:

  • You keep access until the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds for partial months
  • After billing period ends, you're downgraded to Free plan
  • All your data, workflows, and rotations are preserved

Refund Policy

  • First month: Full refund if you cancel within 14 days
  • After first month: No refunds, but you keep access until period ends
  • Annual plans: Prorated refund if cancelled within 30 days

No. You pay based on execution volume, not number of users or team members. Add as many workspace members as your plan allows.

Do I pay per sequence?

No. All plans include unlimited sequences.

Do I need a paid HubSpot plan?

Yes. AutoSeq requires Sales Hub Pro or higher for sequence functionality. We don't control HubSpot pricing.

Is there a free trial?

The Free plan IS your trial. Start there and upgrade when you need more executions.

Can I downgrade?

Yes. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Do I need separate subscriptions for multiple workspaces?

No. Starter and Professional plans include unlimited workspaces. Each workspace shares the total execution limit.
