Resolve common problems with the AutoSeq custom action in HubSpot workflows.

Can't Find AutoSeq Action

Problem: AutoSeq action doesn't appear in workflow actions list

Solutions:

  1. Search for "AutoSeq" in action search box
  2. Check you're in correct HubSpot account
  3. Verify AutoSeq is connected to this portal
  4. Reconnect AutoSeq if needed

Invalid Workspace ID Error

Error: "Invalid workspace ID" in workflow

Fix:

  1. Go to AutoSeq dashboard
  2. Copy workspace ID (top of page)
  3. Paste exactly into workflow action
  4. No extra spaces or characters

No Sequences in Dropdown

Problem: Sequence dropdown is empty

Solutions:

  1. Click "Sync Data" in AutoSeq
  2. Wait 30 seconds
  3. Refresh HubSpot workflow page
  4. Verify sequences exist in HubSpot

No Mailboxes in Dropdown

Problem: Mailbox dropdown is empty

Solutions:

  1. Verify users have Sales Hub Pro
  2. Check emails are connected in HubSpot
  3. Sync data in AutoSeq
  4. Refresh workflow page

Workflow Action Failing

Check AutoSeq execution history for error message

Common errors:

  • "Contact already in sequence" → Add workflow filter
  • "Invalid email" → Require valid email in workflow
  • "Mailbox not found" → Update mailbox selection
  • "Permission denied" → Check sequence permissions
