Enrollment Issues

Resolve problems with contacts not enrolling in sequences or enrollment failures.

Contact Not Enrolling

Problem: Workflow runs but contact doesn't enroll

Check:

  1. AutoSeq execution history for success/failure
  2. Contact email is valid and present
  3. Contact not already in sequence
  4. Workflow filters aren't excluding contact

"Already in Sequence" Error

Error: Contact already enrolled in this sequence

Fix:

  • HubSpot doesn't allow duplicate enrollments
  • Add workflow filter: "Not currently in [sequence]"
  • Or use different sequence

"Invalid Email" Error

Error: Email address missing or invalid

Fix:

  1. Add workflow enrollment filter
  2. "Email is known"
  3. "Email is valid"

"Mailbox Not Found" Error

Error: Selected mailbox doesn't exist

Causes:

  • User was deactivated in HubSpot
  • Email was disconnected
  • User lost Sales Hub Pro license

Fix:

  1. Sync data in AutoSeq
  2. Update workflow to use active mailbox

"Permission Denied" Error

Error: Mailbox owner can't access sequence

Fix:

  • Share sequence with team in HubSpot
  • Or use sequence owner's mailbox
